Halloween Cupcakes

With Halloween just a week away I decided to jump into the festivities and make some Halloween cupcakes. A friend of mine gave me the dark chocolate Sprinkles cupcake mix so I thought how perfect that I can use that with orange icing for my cupcakes. If you've never had a Sprinkles cupcake they are AMAZING! Below is my creation and they were very yummy!

New Kids On The Block!

On Sunday night I went to see New Kids on the Block and it was the best concert of my life (so far)! I went with my friends Kelan and Amanda who I grew up with in Abilene. We have been huge fans of NKOTB for years and I will confess that in the past we've had our own NKOTB reunions so you can imagine our joy when they announced their return. We had so much fun and screamed for almost 3 hours straight along with the other 20-30 year old women who were also reliving their childhood. Twilight Is Almost Here!

This week the new trailer came out for the Twilight movie and just like a giddy 15 year old girl I am SO excited for this movie. I've posted about Twilight before and the other books in the series. If you've never read them and are looking for a good series then I highly recommend them.

It's a Hotdog....No, it's Scout!

This past weekend I went to Abilene to visit my parents. Given that Halloween is right around the corner I thought I would get a doggie costume for Scout. I was at Target last week and found the perfect costume - a hotdog! It was a bit more challening to actually get the costume on him and we were mildly successful, but it was still so funny.
